WHEREAS Complaint has been made unto us, two of
his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
in and for the County
of Middlesex
(one whereof being of the Quorum) by the
Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of Saint Pancras
in the Said County,
That Ann Ellsom Widow of
William Ellsom< no role >
Labourer
deced: hath
lately come into the Said Parish, endeavouring to Settle
there contrary to Law. And it appeareth unto us the
said Justices, and we do adjudge that She is likely
to become chargeable to the said Parish; and upon Exami-
nation of the said Ann Ellsom
taken upon Oath, it further appeareth unto us,
and we do likewise adjudge, that the Parish of
Eltham
in the County of Kent
is the Place of the last legal
Settlement of the said Ann Ellsom
These are therefore in his Majesty's Name to Charge and
Command the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of Saint Pancras
forthwith to remove and convey the said Ann Ellsom< no role >
from the said Parish of Saint Pancras
to the said Parish of [..]
and deliver her to the Church-wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some or one of them, who are here-
by required to provide for her according to Law. Given
under our Hands and Seals the Fourth Day of
May 17 67
