Who being upon Oath says that on or about the 5th. of March
last a Person now present who calls herself Margaret Green< no role >
Published to this Informt. as true a Bill of Exchange now
produced purporting to be the Bill of Exchange of John Johnson< no role >
of Kingston
upon Kall upon James Fitzherbert< no role >
Esquire
at Mr. Simpsons Warwick Court Holborn
for Twenty pounds
and ofwith the Acceptance of James Fitzherbert< no role >
upon it
says that at the request of the said Mrs. Green and for his
own satisfaction he went with the said Bill to the said Mr
Simpson's where he found a Person now present who
calls himself Charles Pleasants< no role >
and who than want by
the Name of Fitzherbert< no role >
and says that upon this
Informants shewing him the Acceptance he confessed and
and owned it to be his hand writing farther says that he
verily believes that the said Bill was falsely made forge
and Counterfeited by the said Pleasants with Intent to Defraud
