The Information ofJane Teresia Hand< no role >
taken before me this 6th. day of
May 1767

Who being upon Oath says that She is Servant to Mrs. Ellison
in Broad Court, says that a Person now present who calls
himself Thomas Swinoe< no role > supp'd with her said Mrs. last Nights
and that they had Cold Roast Beef for Supper, says that
the sd. Mrs. Ellison observed to the Informant that the said
Beef was not out hand some and that there was more gone
then cou'd he gone fairly says that She replied it was
handsome enough to come to any body's Table or Words to
that effect and that Molly whom said Mrs. Ellison said
had given it away cou'd not get at it says that soon
after this She went into the Kitchen and Cold said Molly
what the said Mrs. Ellison had said, says that Molly
replied that he meaning Mr. Swinoe was [..] then her
says that upon these Words being Spoken She heard
Mrs. Ellison say from the top of the StairssayHussy how
dare you mention his Name or Words to that effect
says that Mr. Swinoe immediately came down into the
Kitchen and addressing himself to Molly said what
have you said of Mr. and Wyat [..] said Molly replied Sir I
said that you said,that you said,that the Meat cou'd not
go fairly whereupon said Swinoe gave said Molly a Slap
in the face with his hand that said Molly instantly fell
down backwards upon the Paved Stones, Says that the said
Molly never Spoke afterwards that they took her up and set her
on a Chair when it appeared that her head was cut behind &
Bled, says that the said Molly whose S [..] am as
She is informed is Gardiner was before this
dispute
