At the General Session of the Peace of our Lord the King holden for the-
County of Middlesex at Hicks Hall in Saint John Street in the said County by-
Adjournment) On Thursday the Eleventh day of December in the Seventh year of the
Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Third King of Great Britain Etc Before

< no role > Esquires and others their Fellows Justices of our said Lord the King Assigned
to keep the Peace in the County aforesaid and also to hear and determine divers-
Felonies Trespasses and other misdemeanours committed in the same County-

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of Parish of Saint-
Olave Southwark in the County of Surry Have at this present Session Exhibited their
Petition and Appeal Settingforth That by Virtue of an Order or pass Warrant under-
the hands and Seals of Thomas Smith< no role > and Christopher Scott< no role > Esquires two of his Majestys
Justices of the Peace in and for the County of Middlesex one whereof being of the-
Quorum bearing date the Twenty fourth day of October 1766 Katherine Waker< no role > wife of Edward Waker< no role > who
is gone away from her) and her infant Child named Ann< no role > aged two years were removed-
from and out of the Parish of Saint Mary White Chapel in the said County of Middlesex
to the said Parish of Saint Olave as the place of the last legal Settlement of the said
Edward Waker< no role > and Katherine his wife and their said Child Whereby the Petitioners
conceived themselves to be Aggrieved Now the said Appeal coming on to be heard in the
presence and hearing of the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint Mary White chaple and they consenting by their Council to the allowing
of the said Appeal It is Ordered that the said Appeal be and the same is hereby-
allowed And the said Pass Warrant or Order of Removal of the said Two Justices is
hereby vacated and set aside And it is further Ordered that the Churchwardens-
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint Olave or some or one of them
Do forthwith Convey and Deliver back the said Poor woman and her Child (together-
with a Copy of this Order) unto the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
said Parish of Saint Mary White chaple or to some or one of them who are hereby.
required to receive and Provide for them untill they can Free themselves from the
Charge thereof by due course of law.
