To the Worshipfull his Majestys Justices of the Peace for the County
of Middlesex in General Quarter Session at Hicks Hall Assembled

The humble Petition and appeal of the Church Wardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Anne within the
Liberty of Westminster in the said County

Sheweth


That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under the hands and
Seals of James Esdaile< no role > and Benjamin Cowley< no role > Esquire, two of his Majesty's
Justices of the Peace for the County of Middlesex (whereof one is of the Quorum)
bearing date the Ninth day of September last ann Nash< no role > Wife of Joseph Nash< no role > Peruke
maker ( who is run away and left her and not to be bound) and their Child Joseph< no role > aged
eighteen Months and upwards were removed and conveyed from the Parish of St. Andrews
Holborn above the Barrs in the County of Middlesex to the said Parish of St Anne
as the Place of the last legal Settlement of the said Joseph Nash< no role > Ann his Wife
and Joseph their Child whereby your Petitioners conceive themselves to
be aggrieved and against the said Pass Warrant or Order do Appeal
to this Court.

Your Petitioners therefore humbly Pray that Your
Worships will be Pleased to appoint some day in the Present
Session for the hearing and determining the said Appeal
and to Order that the ChurchWarden and Overseers of the
Poor of the said Parish of St. Andrew Holborn above the Barrs and
all Persons concerned do then attend this Court
