At the General Session of the Peace of our Lord the King
holden for the County of Middlesex at Hicks Hall in Saint
John Street in the said County (by Adjournment) on Thursday
the Fourth day of September in the Sixth year of the Reign of
our Sovereign Lord George the Third King of Great Britain Etc

It is Ordered that Mr. James Jefferson< no role > Treasurer of this County do pay
to James Sturges Adams < no role > Contractor for the Passing of Vagrants for this
County the Sum of Three pounds Seven Shillings and nine pence for
Subsistance of Vagrants under his care since the last Session And that
the Receipt of the said Contractor together with this Order shall be a
sufficient discharge to the said Treasurer for such payment.
