City a Middlesex ?

I Believe it stands in the Liberty of
London-no Part in Middlesex

Do you mean a Common Gaol for the
County of Middlesex on for both City &
County?

Its a County Gaol for the City and
County of the County of Middlesex -the
then are other Gaols in the City and
County yet no other falls under the
denomination of County Gaol for ither
County or City.

Whether there are other County Gaols
in the County of Middlesex ?

There are Gaols in the County of
Middlesex but none falls under the
Denomination of County Gaol but Newgate
-There New Prison - The Gate house

& Tothil Fields Bridewell & Clerkenwell
Bridewell all in Middlesex .

Who repairs those Gaols in the County?

I appose Gentlemen of the County

I believe the Sheriffs of London-I
have heard of Repairs done to Newgate-
believe the City of London have been at the
Expence.

Where are the Doctors kept taken in
Excution in London?

I believe they are sent to the counters
if they don't behave well there, they are
sent to Newgate

Are you acquainted with the Order made
at the Old Baily in 1726 for removal of
Prisoners from the several Gaols in the
County of Middlesex to Newgate in order to
take Lyals there?
