Saith That Monday Evening last between five and six being in his
Boat in the Thomas near the Horse Herry at Ratchiff he
Saw an handkerchief and Two hoop Sticks to it driving down
the River close to his BoatThat he look it up with the
Hitcher or Boat HookThat he found it to be the
Said ChildThat the handkechief was primed with
Two pins and the Child ad a bit of Torn Handkerchief tied
round the middle of itThat he did not see any Marks
of Violence about it And it was Carried a shore by the Other
Evidence Comon and then taken to the Workhouse
