WHEREAS Complaint has been made unto us, two of
his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the County of
Middlesex (one whereof being of the Quorum) by the
Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of St. Giles in the fields in the said County,
That Catherine Sargeant< no role > Widow
of Richard Sargeant< no role > Deceased
lately come into the said Parish endeavouring to settle
there, contrary to Law. And it appeareth unto us the
said Justices, and we do adjudge that she is likely
to become chargeable to the said Parish; and upon Exami-
nation of the said Catherine Sargeant
taken upon Oath, it further appeareth unto us,
and we do likewise adjudge, that the Parish of St.
Ann within the Liberty of Westmr
in the sd. County is the Place of the last legal
Settelment of the said Catherine Sargeant< no role >

These are therefore in his Majesty's Name to Charge and
Command the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of St. Giles in the fields .
forthwith to remove and convey the said Catherine
Sargeant

from the said Parish of St. Giles in the fields
to the said Parish of St. Ann
and deliver her to the Church-wardens and Overseers
of the poor there, or to some or one of them, who are here-
by required to provide for her according to Law. Given
under our Hands and Seals the 15th Day of
March 1764

To the Church-wardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the respective Parishes
St.Giles in the fields
in the County of Middlesex,
and St. Ann within the Liberty
of Westmr. in the sd. County
and to all other Officers whom it may
concern.
