The Information of Robt. Johnson< no role >
taken before me this 2d. day of Dec 1762

Who being upon says that he is a Coal Heaser, that he
lodges in a House next door to Daniel Marles< no role > Porter
and that there is but a thin Lath Partition between their
Rooms, says that yesterday Morning between five
and six o Clock, [..] (it being then Moonlight) the
said Morles Knocks this Informt. up and asked him
if he wou'd do a Job, says he got up Immediately and
went to him when Morley emplayed him to carry a
Sack, the Contents of which he did not then Know
believes the weight of it was about one hundred
says he and Morley went together to a Sugar Bekere
near Coal Stairs whose Name he has since heard
is Hance Gay< no role > , says that on Knocking at the door
of the said Hence, said Hance Gay as he believe
came down in his Shirt & let them in saystheyhe delivd.
his Sugar and that he & Morley then went out, that
soon after they came out they met Wm. Perpraise
to whom Morley proposed to give a Pint of Hall &
that they went accordingly to a Public Hence to drink
it, that in the Meantime said Morley desired this
Informt. to goe back to his Lodgings and fetch the
other Sack to the said Sugar Bakers, says he went
accordingly and carried the other Sack to the said Sugar
Bakers where he found the door again and said
Hance Gay waiting at the door, that he carried
said [..] Sack in, when said Say Shut the door and
[..] emptied the said Sack as well as the former he had
carried into a Big [..] when this Informt. saw Act [..]
Sugar, & that it weighed Two hundred, one Quarter & soon
odd pounds, says that he then took the two empty Sack [..]
Carried them to said Morley's Lodgings, says that the said
Hance Gas went before him to open the door
