The Information of John Poole< no role >
a Person Lawfully Deputed to put
in Execution a late hot of Parlimt.
called the Burn. Boat & Lumpred
Act Taken this 1st. day of Decr. 1762

Who being upon Oath says that this Morning about
half an hour after five o' Clock his Partner Wm. Perpraise< no role >
called him up and desired him to goe round the Sugar
Bake house of one Hance Gay< no role > now present, in Order to
[..] make some enquires about one Morley whom
he Suspected to have been at Work that Morning
says that he went accordingly to the Shop door of the
said Sugar Baker's which he finding on a Jarr, pushed
it open and went in, says that he Spoke to Mr. Gay
the Master and asked him where Morley was, who
answered he was Just gone says that he then asked him
whether Morles had not [..] brought some Sugar and
what the weight of it was, who told him yes and that [..]
it weighed two hundred, one Quarter and eight pounds
says that he waited til said Morles returned & then
seized him, that said Gay the Master then lent
said Morles two Guineas which he offered this Informt.
and his Partner to let him goe, says that said Morley
told this Informt. while in Custody, that it was Mr. Gay
himself who got up in his Shirt and let him in the same
Morning, says that when he went into the said Sugar Bakers
he Pretended to belong to said Morley
