Bethnal Green . [..] 25. Augt. 1762. Mr Loyd at the
Sign of the King & Queen in Hare Street touching
the death of Jane Bedford< no role > an Infant of this
Age of seven Weeks then & there lying dead.

Francis Hedges< no role > of Spital Fields Surgeon That
he hath View'd the Body of Jane Bedford< no role > now lying
dead & says he observes no Marks of Violence, That
the head appears not to be closed owing to its eye legs
the hand & Limbs are all found Thinks the Child
abt. 5 weeks old & appears to be Pretty full of Flash
dont think it was starv'd but believes it died by a
natural cause as convulsion Fits or a Fever but Cants.
at Prsent certainly determine if it had died by
Starving he Thinks the Body [..] have been Emacited
but not having seen the Child till now he can form
no certain Judgmt.

Week as a dry Nurse untill last Saturday was fortnight
the weeks before this Queen was brot. to BedThat
the Child she says died on the 12th of Augt.she
Thinks it was 8 Weeks old when it diedcannot lay
who nurs'd it before she nurs'd itshe Nurs'd it
for a Week & Says she was to have 6d. a day for the
[..] & to Nurse the Child at the Fathers House
wch. she did That during the Week she Nurs'd it
She fed the Child with Bread Water & Sugar boiled
but sometimes she beg'd Milk to this wth. itSays
the Nourishmt. she was allow'd was Bread & Sugar
