The Information James Smith< no role > Edw Morgan< no role > taken before me
one of his Majesty Justices of the Peace for
the sd County

Who being upon Oath Saith That Last Night about Ten
O'Clock there was Stole from him a Surtent Coat now Produced and
two Persons now Present who call themselves Mary Cockran< no role >
& Ely Adams< no role > confessed in the Presence of this Jus the Stealing
the said Coat and had sold it with other things last Night
about Eleven O'Clock to one Tho Connell< no role > for Seven
Shillings and declared that the sd. Connel only asked
them if it was Honestly come by and then Jus saith that
the Value of his Coat only is Two Guineas & upwards
and then Jus saith that from the said Confession he
verily bels. the sd. Mary & Ely to be the Persons
who stole his Coat & that the sd Tho Connell< no role > from
[..] Price given and the Unseasonable time of Night
they were bought & from the appearance of the
Persons he boughtthethem off he verily bels. he
must Know them to have been stolen And the sd
Edwd Morgan< no role > for himself saith that from the
declaration of the sd. Women he went to the Cellar
where the sd. things were sold and the sd Tho
Connel
< no role > Produced the sd. things to him
