Sheweth,
That by Virtue of a pass Warrant or Order under the hands

, and Wm. Rugge< no role >
Esqrs. two of his Majesty's
Justices of the peace
for the City and Liberty of Westminster
(one where of
being of the Quorum) bearing date the 30th. day of April 1762,
Elizabeth Phillips< no role >
Widow was removed from the Parish of Saint
George Hanover Square
within the Liberty of Westminster
in the said
County of Middlesex
to the said Parish of Saint James
as the place
of her last legal Settlement Whereby your Petitioners think
themselves Aggrieved and Appeal to this Court against the same.
Your Petitioners therefore humbly pray that
the benefit of this their Appeal may be saved unto
their until the next General Quarter Sessions of the
peace to be holden for this County; And that the hearing
and determining thereof may be Adjourned until the
said next General Quarter Sessions of the peace And
that the Church Wardens and Overseers of the poor of the
said parish of Saint George Hanover Square
and all
Persons concerned may be Ordered then to Attend
To hear and Abide the Judgment and determination
of this Court touching the said Appeal.
