not know where the Husbd. or his wife the deced lived
never saw them before to his Knowlege. That last
Wednesday Evening a fore Minutes after 8 in the
Evening he was standing at his own door & S [..]
a Cart Load of Deals going from Tower Hill into Rose
-Mary Lanes . That in crossing the Channell the Carman
held towards the Houses on the near side of this HousesThat as the Cart was
moving along the deced was standing on the same
side with he back towds. the Cart & her Face towds.
the Houses. The Husband then stood Face to Face
& within Arms length ofhisthe decedThe Cart was
moving & just as it pass'd by he observ'd the Mans
hand up streeted agt. the Woman & hit her so [..]
abt. the Breastshe fell agt. the Edge of the near
Wheel wch. frud her agt. the shaft & she fell to
the Ground & the near Wheel west over her, as
be Thinks from the Leins to the ShoulderSays
That no sooner had the wheel pass'd over the Body
but the Husband went up & saif'd the Carman &
charg'd him wth. the killing & his Wifethe
Witness then saif'd the Husbd. by the Collar & told him
he was the Villain who Threw her down for the
Cart to go over her, [..] called for Assistance & he
was for that Night carried to the Poultry Compter
