At the General Session of the
Peace of our Lord the King holden
for the County of Middlesex at
Hicks Hall in Saint John Street
in the said County by adjournmt.
on Thursday the twenty fifth day
of February 1762. in the Second
year of the Reign of King George
the Third.

Upon reading the Report of the Committee of His Majesty's
Justices of the Peace for this County to When the Peticon
of Wm. Pentlow< no role > Keeper of New prison at Clerkenwell
was referred It is Ordered that Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer
of this County do pay to the said William Pentlow< no role > the
Sum of Twelve pounds ten Shillings for one quarter
a year's salary allowed to the Governor of the House
of Correction there It appearing by the said Report
that the said William Pentlow< no role > had the Care and
Charge of the said House of Correction by order
of the Sessions from the twenty second of June last
till the first of October following And [..]
it is further Ordered that the Receipt of the said
William Pentlow< no role > together with this Order shall
be a sufficient discharge to the said Treasurer
for such Payment.
