Upon reading the Report of the Committee of His Majesty's
Justices of the Peace
for this County to When the Peticon
of Wm. Pentlow< no role >
Keeper of New prison
at Clerkenwell
was referred It is Ordered that Mr. John Higgs< no role >
Treasurer
of this County do pay to the said William Pentlow< no role >
the
Sum of Twelve pounds ten Shillings for one quarter
a year's salary allowed to the Governor of the House
of Correction there It appearing by the said Report
that the said William Pentlow< no role >
had the Care and
Charge of the said House of Correction by order
of the Sessions from the twenty second of June last
till the first of October following And [..]
it is further Ordered that the Receipt of the said
William Pentlow< no role >
together with this Order shall
be a sufficient discharge to the said Treasurer
for such Payment.
