The Information Margt Carrine< no role > & Grace Robson< no role > taken
before me one of his Majesty Justices of the Peace for
the said County

Who being Jointly & seeing on Oath Say & first the Ins Margt Carrine For
herself Saith that she left a Ready Furnished Lodgingtoabout
a week ago to a Person now Present who calls herself Frances
Bryant
< no role > and last night the Ins Found taking From the Sd. Furniture
a Blanket & Sheet and upon the Ins charging her with
the same she Confessed that she sold the Sd. Blanket & Sheet
to a Person now Present who calls herself Mary Holloway< no role >
who Keeps a Raj shed in Oxford Road And then Morning this Ins asked
the other Ins to go to the said Holloways with her which she did
And there Insts. jointly say than when they came to the said Holloway
they asked her if she had not a Banket & Sheet from the Sd.
Bryan and the Sd. Holloway Answered that he had Bought of
her a Blanket & a Sheet which Sheet the bought on the last Sunday & that he gave Eight Pane for
the Blanket & Ten pence for the Sheet & that the had Sold
the Blanket again & that she had the Sheet but she wod. not
let the Ins Carrine have is because she had bought it
And upon this Ins Carrine bringing the Sd. Holloway before a
Magistrat the sand Holloway then brought with her an Old
Sheet & an old Quilt which she than say'd was the things bought
of the said Bryan & denyed buying any Blanket at all And
the Ins Margt Carrine further saith that the said Sheet & Old Quilt
are not her Property her ever was And Further Saith that
by the Sd. Holloways First telling Inform. that she had bought the
thing as afore Sd. according to the Sd. Bryant Ins one of which was
on a Sunday & that she gave no more that [..] eigty pence for the
Blanket & Ten pence for the Sheet which said Blanket
was worth five shilling & the said sheeet worth Two Shillings
this Ins verily bels. that the Sd. Mary Holloway< no role > bought the
said things well Knouting the same to be Stolen.
