James Barclay< no role > , Taylor . That this day 7-night he
Thinks the deced went into the Parish Work house because she
was not able to get her Bread & she laid her death to Thos.
Morris< no role > for the deced told him Morris stamp'd upon her on
her left side abt. 8 Weeks since till the Blood bursted both upwards & downwards says they cohabited togr.
but she was not his WifeSays the deced work'd with
the Witness till he Thought she wd. die in the House &
advis'd her to provide herself.

Patric Mc.Corty< no role > Journeyman to Barclay. That the
deced work'd in the same Room wth. the [..] Witness at
Mr. Barclays for abt. 2 Months in wch. time she daily
repeated her being abus'd by Thos. Morris< no role > That one Night
she had Morris Keys in her pocket & Morris wanted them
she refut'd to deliver themhe Knock'd her down &
stamp'd upon her Belly & kick'd her in the side. That
she cried out Murther & called the Watch That he
continued beating of her & Morris, Mother sd. to her
SonDamn her Eyes a Bitch Stamp upon her kill her
Murther herSays the deced said all this to the Witness
Says That the deced likewise told him several Times That abt. 6 or 7 Weeks
since Morris hit her in the Face & Knock'd her down, &
that when she rose he hit her with his Fist in the Belly
wch. knock'd her down & fore'd the Blood upwards &
downwardsThat the next Morning Morris came to the
Witness Room where the deced Work'd & the deced
shew'd her Arm her Face & her Nose & charged Morris
with doing of itThat Morris did not [..] deny it, but
said it was her own Fault
