The Information of Joseph Wilson< no role > & Tho Brittan< no role > taken
before me one of his Majestys Justices of the peace for
the said County

Who being severally on Oath say & first this Inf Joseph Wilson of
himself saith that about Three Weeks ago this Inf discovered
Moneys to have been stole from him and then Inf suspecting
after son now Present who calls himself Danl King< no role > who was
an Errand Boy to then Inf to have stole the same this Inf. in
Order to discover the sd. Felony Marked a Guinea five ½ Gunieas which this Inf
put into one of his Tills yesterday Morning and about ½ an hour
after then Inf was Informed by the other Inf. that he saw the sd.
Danl. put his hand in the till & he bell hand taken out some
Money whereupon then Inf searched the Danl. & found
the Guinea some led as afsd. on him which in the Property
of this Inf & stole out of the sd. Till and upon Aprehending the sd.
Danl. he confessed the taking Seven half Guineas and one Guinea
and other Moneys to the amount of Nine PoundsSevenfive Shillings &
also some Tea Sugar & Spanish Jueca all which he
gave to his Mother who as he says told him to be carefull that
he was not seen in taking the same and this Ins upon Searching the
Room of Eleanor King< no role > the Mother of the sd. Daniel then Ins found there a Small Quanty
of Tea [..] & some of the afsd. Juice which the acknowledged to be
the Property of this Ins & his, to her by her son also say'd the had
rend from him three half Guinea at diffs times and then Inf
The Brittain for himself saith that he saw the sd. Danl. put
his hand into the Till and as he belt take out some money
and upon the Apprehend my the sd. Danl Mother he heard the
sd Confession as aforesaid and this Ins Joseph for himself
Saith that be verily bels. the sd. Eleanor recd the sd. Money
& Goods well Knowing the same to be stolen
