The Information of John Pearcy< no role > Ephaim Brooks< no role > & Sarah White< no role > taken before me one of his
Majestys Justices of the Peace for the said County

Who being sevly on Oath say & first that Ins John Pearcy< no role > for himselfon Oathsaith that about Three Months age he was Pick'd
up in the Street by a Person now present who calls herself Ann
Seymour< no role > and went with her to her Lodgings and when he was
so Pickerd up he had in his Pocket a Silver watch and four
Peices of Foreign Gold called Six & Thirtys and during the time he
was in the Room with the sd. Woman he had his Pocket Picked of
the sd. Watch & Money which he verily bell was taking by the
Said Ann as no other Person was in the Room with this Inst.
whereupon this Ins caused the sd. Ann to be apprehended and the then
Confessed the sd. taking the sd. Watch and say'd she gave the sd. Watch to
after [..] now Present who calls himself Charles Steward< no role > who
Panen'd the sd. Watch for One Guinea & a half for which the sd.
Cha. had five Shillings And after this Inf had been so robbed
within a Day or two the sd. Cho. Steward< no role > came to this Inf and asked
him if he was the Person which had been robbed & he and Yes
and the sd. Cha. asked this Inf what reward he is sd same if he could
get the Woman Which had the Watch & upon this Inf Saying he
was Poor and asd. not give a Guineabutupon which he went &
way & this Ins never heard or see him after till he was in Custody
And this [..] Inf Ephraim Brooks< no role > for himself saith that he
Apprehended the sd Charles and the sd. Chas. told this Inf he was
Present when one Basset Panrned the sd. Watch & that he Pawned
it for One Guinea & an half and that he gave the Money to the sd.
Ann & that the next Money he took the sd. Watch out of Pawn &
delivered to the sd. Ann Seymern And the sd. Sarah White for
herself Saith that the heard the sd. Cho Steward< no role > say that he
was present as afsd with the sd Basset & that he took it
