To the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Twickenham
in the County of Middx
and to Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of St. James
with in the Liberty of &
Westminster

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made by you the
Churchwards and Overseers of the Poor of the
said Parish of Twickenham
unto us whose Hands and Seals are
hereunto set, two of his Majesty's Justices of Peace (where-
of one is of the Quorum (for the County of Middx afore
said, that James Dibble< no role > , Mary < no role > his Wife &
his two Children to Wit Sarah < no role > aged one
years & upwards & Daniel < no role > about three
months
Lately intruded into your said Parish of Twickenham
there to inhabit as Parishioners contrary to the Laws relating to
the Settlement of Poor, and there likely to become char-
geable, if not timely prevented: AND WHEREAS, upon due
Examination and Enquiry made into the Premises, upon
Oath & Other Circumstances
it appears unto Us, and we accordingly adjudge, that the said
James Dibble< no role > his said wife & Children
are
like to become chargeable unto the said Parish of
Twickenham and that the last legal Place of
Settlement of the said James Dibble< no role > his said
Wife & Children is in the said Parish of
St. James

THESE are therefore in his Majesty's Name, to order and re-
quire you the said Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the Parish of Twickenham aforesaid, that you
or some of you, do forthwith remove and convey the said,
James Dibble< no role > his said Wife & Children
from your said Parish of
Twickenham to the said Parish of
St. James and them deliver
to the Churchwards and Overseers of the Poor there, or some
or one of them, together with this our Warrant or Order, or a
true Copy hereof; whereby they are likewise required, in his
Majesty's Name, and by Virtue of the Statutes in such Case
made, forthwith to receive the said James Dibble< no role >
his said wife & Children
into their said Parish and provide for them
as their own Parishioners GIVEN under our Hands and Seals the
21st. Day of October in the Year of our
Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Sixty
