William Duggan< no role > of Bates's Street in the parish of St. George in the County
of Middlesex Gentleman maketh Oath that Simon Lessont is a very
Material Evidence for him the said Defendant upon the Tryall of this Cause
and that he has made diligent Enquiry after the said Simon Lessont
at his late Lodging or late place of abode, in order to have had
the Testimony of the said Simon Lessont at this present
Session's upon the Tryall of this Cause but was Informed that the said Simon
Lessont
< no role > was gone to portsmouth upon Some business and
that he Will not be in London till next December which this
Deponent Verily believes to be True, and this Deponent
further Saith that he cannot safely proceed to the Tryall of
the said Cause Without the Testimony of the said Simon
Lessont, and that he this Deponent will use his Endeav [..]
to have the said Simon Lessont in this Court at next Sessions
of the peace to be holden for the said County in order to [..]
the benefit of his Testimony upon the Tryal of this Cause [..]
