Rogues and Vagabonds
were found wandering abroad and begging in the Parish of
St. George
Hanover Square
not having a legal Settlement there,
And Whereas the said
John Carey< no role >
&
Dennis Sullivan< no role >
were
brought before me one of his Majesty's Justices of the peace
for the City and Liberty of Westminster
, by
John Lewis< no role >
in
order to be dealt with according to Law.
These are therefore to require you the
said High Constable
to pay unto the said John Lewis< no role >
for apprehending the said Vagrants the Sum of Twenty
Shillings (being Ten Shillings for each Vagrant) pursuant
to the directions of the Statute in that case made & provided
