To Mr John Barnes< no role > High or Chief Constable
for the City and Liberty of Westmr .

Whereas Eleanor Reeves< no role > a Rogue and Vagabond was found
wandering and begging in the parish of St. Martin in the Fields
in the said Liberty not having a legal Settlement there And
Whereas she said Eleanor Reeves< no role > was brought before me one of his
Majesty's Justices of the peace for the City and Liberty of Westminster
aforesaid by William Taylor< no role > one of the Bedels of the said Parish in
Order to be dealt with according to Law and the said Rogue and
Vagabond was sent to the House of Correction.

These are therefore to require You the said High Constable
to pay unto the said William Taylor< no role > for apprehending the said Rogue &
Vagabond the Sum of Ten Shillings pursuant to the Statute in that
Case made and provided Given under my Hand & Seal this 22d. day
of August 1757.
