To Mr. John Barnes< no role > High or Chief Constable for the
City and Liberty of Westmr .

Whereas Esther McKay< no role > a Rogue & Vagabond was found wandering
and begging in the Parish of St. Martin in ye Fields in ye. sd. Liberty not
having a legal Settlemt. there And Whereas ye. sd. Esther Mc Kay was brought
before Me One of his Majesty's Justices of ye. Peace for ye City & Liberty of
Westmr. aforesaid by John Kenderson< no role > one of ye Bedels of ye. sd. Parish in
Order to be dealt with according to Law & ye sd. Rogue & Vagabond was
Sent to the House of Correction.

These are therefore to require You the sd. High Constable to
pay unto the said John Henderson< no role > for apprehending the said
Rogue and Vagabond the Sum of Ten Shillings pursuant to the
Statute in that Case made and provided Given under my Hand
& Seal this First day of August 1757.
