At the General Session of the Peace of our Sovereign Lord the King holden for the County
of Middx at Hicks Hall in St. John Street in the County aforesaid by adjournment on Thursday
the twenty sixth day of May in the thirtieth Year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord George the
second King of Great Britain etc before Thomas Lane< no role > George Errington< no role > Bartholomew Hammond< no role >
Francis Bedwell< no role > Esqrs . and others Fellows Justices of our said Lord the King assigned to keep
the Peace in the County aforesaid and also to hear and determine divers Felonies Trespasses and
other Misdeeds committed in the same County.

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St. Bridgetotherwise
Brides in the City of London have exhibited their humble Petition and Appeal unto this Court
Setting forth That by an Order under the Hands and Seals of Thomas Quarrill< no role > Esquire and Sir
Samuel Gower< no role > Knight too of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the County of Middx
(one of the Quorum) bearing date the thirteenth day of May instant Eleanor Dunn< no role > Widow was
removed from the Parish of St. Mary White Chappel in the County of Middx aforesaid to
the said Parish of St. Bridget otherwise Brides as the Place of her last legal Settlement
whereby the Petitioners conceive themselves aggrieved Whereupon at the request of the
Petitioners It is Ordered by this Court that the benefit of the said Appeal be saved unto them
And that the hearing and determining thereof be and the same is hereby adjourned untill the
next General Quarter Session of the Peace to be holden for the said County of Middx And
that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of St. Mary White
Chappel (upon Notice of this Order) and all Persons concerned do attend the Court of the said
next General Quarter Session of the Peace to be holden for the said County of Middx by
adjournment on Thursday the fourteenth day of July next at ten of the Clock in the
Forenoon to hear and abide the Judgment and Determination of the same Court touching
the said Appeal.
