To the Constable, [..] and other Officer
of the Peace of the Parish of St. Martin in
the Fields of within the Liberty of
Westminster in the County of Middx
[..] to receive and convey.

And to the Church-wardens Chapel-wardens,or Overseer
of the Poor of the Parish Place or Precinct of All saint
in the Town of Malden in of the County of Essex
or either of them to receive and obey

WHEREAS Judith Pettitt Wife of Joseph Pettitt< no role >
(goon from her) was
apprehended in the sd Parish of St. Martin in the Fields
as a Rogue and Vagabond, (videlicet) wandering & begging in
a loose idle and disorderly manorer contrary to the
Statute in that Case made and provided
and upon Examination of the said Judith Pettitt< no role >
taken before me upon Oath (which
Examination is hereunto annexed) it doth appear that the last legal
Place of Settlement of the said Judith Pettitt< no role > is in
the Parish of all saints in the Town of Malden in
the County of Essex aforesaid

There are therefore to require you the said Constable or other Officer
to Convey the said Judith Pettitt< no role >
to the Parish of St. Dunstan in ye West London that being the first
Parish in the next Precinct through which she ought to pass in the
direct Way to the said Parish of All Saints to which
she is to be sent and to deliver her to the Constable or
other Officer of Such Parish in such next Precinct, together with this
Pass, and the Duplicate of the Examination of the said Judith Pettitt
taking his Receipt for the same. And the said Judith Pettitt< no role >
to be thence carried on like Manner to
the said Parish of All Saints
there to be delivered to some Church-warden, Chapel-warden or Overseer
of the Poor of the same Parish
to be there provided for according to law. And you the said Church-
warden , Chapel-warden, or Overseers of the Poor, are hereby required to
receive the said Person and provide for her as aforesaid. Given under
my Hand and Seal this 17th Day of March
in the Year of our Lord 17 57.
