And this Depont. saith that the said Oliver MacAllister< no role >
then desired this Depont. to subscribe the Name of John
Connor< no role > as the first Witness to the Execution of the said
Will, and that after this Depont. had so done, He the
said Oliver Mac Allister< no role > took fresh Ink, which in the
Writeing appeard to be white and wrote the Name of
Daniel Brien< no role > under the said Name of John Connor< no role > , as
another Witness to the Execution of the said Will. And
this Depont. saith, that the Reason why the sd. Oliver
Mac Allister< no role > , wrote the last Name of Daniel Brien< no role > was
that both the Names might not appear to be the same
Hand, and that after he had so done, he blotted and
besmeared the said Will with Ink, that it might
seem to be of an Old Date, and not fresh done, And
this Depont. farther saith, that a probate of ye said
forged Will was obtained in tho prerogative Court
of Counter bury, And that tho said Oliver Mac Allister< no role >
as this Depont. verily beleives paid for the same, and
that after he had so obtained tho said probate; he
appointed this Depont. to meet him in the Temple
as the next Day, and that he accordingly met him these
and that the said Oliver Mac Allister< no role > then took this
Deponent to a Stationers Shop in the Temple , and
bought a blank Letter of Attorney, and filled the
same up himself, and then desired this Depont. to
sign the same, in the Name of George Rathery< no role > , and
Deliver it as the Act and Deed of the said George
Rathery, and that the same was then Witnessed by
on of the Young Men in the Shop, and that he
afterwards gave His Deponent a Shilling, to go &
Re Excute it before the then Lord May or of London
and that after this Depont. had so re'executed the sd.
Letter of Attorney, He this Depont. deliver'd the same
to the said Oliver Man Allister, who some time after
