Gentleman maketh Oath and saith That He this Deponent
hath Directions from the Right Honourable Henry
Fox
< no role > Esqr . his Majesties Secretary at War to prosecute [..]
Offenders concerned in Forging Wills and Letters of Attorney
from Marines in order to defraud the Agents belonging to
the several Regiments And this Deponent further saith
That on Wednesday last and not before this Deponent had
Notice of a Warrant of Detainer being granted against the
said Oliver MacAllister< no role > for feloniously forging the Will of
James Ratheray< no role > otherwise Rottery < no role > late a Marine in Colonet
Cochran's Regiment And this Deponent further saith That
there has not been Time sufficient To collect the several
necessary Evidences Together and to prepare the Prosecution
against the said Oliver Mac Allister< no role > and to preferr the Bill
of Indictment To the Grand Jury this Sessions.
