(one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date the
second day of February last whereby Martha Washington< no role >
Widow
was removed and conveyed
from the
Parish of Saint Margaret
in the City and Liberty of Westminster
aforesaid to be
said Parish of Saint Michael in Wood Street
as her last legal place of Settlement And upon
hearing of what was alledged by Councel for the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
said Parish of Saint Margaretand also by Councel for the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint Michael in Wood Street
This Court doth allow
of the said Appeal and doth vacate and discharge the aforesaid Order of the said two Justices of
the Peace and the same is hereby vacated and discharged accordingly And this Court doth Order
that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint Margaret
or some or one of them do forthwith pay or cause to be paid unto the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint Michael in Wood Street
or one of them the Sum of
One pound five shillings and four pence adjudged and allowed to them by this Court for the
Charges which they have been at in and about the maintaining the said Martha Washington< no role >
since the time of her said Removal thither by virtue or colour of the aforesaid Order of the
said two Justices of the Peace.
