To the Worshipfull his Majesties Justices
of the peace for the County of Middlesex
in Quarter Sessions Assembled.

The Humble Petition & Appeal of the
Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor of the
Parish of St: Giles Camberwell in the County
of Surry

Humbly Sheweth


That by an Order under the Hands & Seals of
Gideon Harvey< no role > & J: Lediard Esqrs: two of his
Majesties Justices of the peace for the City
and Liberty of Westminster Dated the 18th: day
of October last past John Fry< no role > & Mary< no role > his Wife
were removed from the parish of St: Margaret
Westminster in the said County of Middlesex to
our said parish of St: Giles Camberwell as the
place of their last legal Settlement whereby
we think ourselves agrieved

We therefore Humbly Appeal to the
said Order & forasmuch as we are not
Ready to Try the same at this present
Sessions We Humbly pray that the
Hearing & Determining thereof may be
Saved and Respited until the next Sessions
And that the Churchwardens & Overseers
of the poor of the parish of St: Margaret
Westminster be Ordered then & there to
attent

And Yr: Petitioners in Duty
bound shall ever Pray
