The Information of John Stewart< no role > a
Marriner at Mr. Long a Shoemaker in
Browns Garden's , taken before me this
15th. April 1749 .

Who being upon Oath Says that Yesterday Morning a Person now
present who calls herself Margtt. Eves< no role > Intired this Informt. into a house
in Gold Smith's Alley and afterwardstreating her with a Dram she
the said Margtt: Eves feloniously and privately Rich'd his [..]
Pockett of One Pound two Shillings and Six pence Says that as
Soon as he Missed his Money he laid hold of the said Eves and as
he was Carrying her to Justices two Men came up to him and Assaulted
him and Rescued the said Eves from him, and upon her being apprehended
this Morning and being Taxed with Robbing this Informt. She the said
Eves Replyed She would tell where the Money was before she would
be sent to Goal.
