saith That on or about the sixteenth of May last
the
abovenamed Defendant George Wood< no role >
was comitted to the
keeper of New Prison
by virtue of a Warrt. of that
Date under the [..] Hand and Seal of Mr. Justice Dennett
for buying of a Rope six Inches round and forty Fathom long
the said Rope being stole from out of his Majesty's Yard at
Deptlord and the property of his Majesty as he this Depont.
hath been inform'd and beleives and this Deponent further
saith That Thomas Cornew< no role >
John Hart< no role >
and Samuel Cole< no role >
three of the principals concern'd in the said Felony as this Depont.
hath been imprin'd are now in Maidstone Gaol in the County of
Kent
and that they have not as yet been tried for the said
Felony but are intended to be tried at the next assizes for
that County.
