now a prisoner in Newgate
the Defendant in this Cause maketh Oath that
he this Deponent was prepared to take his Tryal
on this Indictment in the last April Sessions
And this Deponent further Saith that he this
Deponent did in the last April Sessions make
an Affidavit joyntly with Samuel Custins< no role >
Sworn the twenty fifth of April last
upon
which Affidavit It was moved by the Deponents
Council that this Deponents Tryal Should then
be brought On for the Several reasons in the
Said Affidavit on the part of this Deponent
mentioned as by she said affidavit may
appear But the Council on behalf of the
Crown opposed this Deponents Tryal to
Come on and by that means this Deponents
Tryal was put off at that Sessions altho
this Deponent was prepared with his Witnesses
and was desirous and ready to be tryed at
that Sessions
Sworn in Court at Justicehall in the Old
[..] Bailey
in the Suburbs of the City
of London
