sd. took his Corporal Oath upon
the holy Gospoll of God before sd. Morrice (having sufficient power to administer said Oath) did voluntarily falsely maliciously corruptly &
decietfully upon his sd Oath Say Depose & Swear & in writing affirm That a person then in Custody in his Majestys Goal of Newgate in
the County of Middx. & who went by the Name of Wm. Frankland by the Nickname of Rusty Dick (meaning sd. Wm. Frankland) (which
Wm. Frankland on sd. 9th. Novr. & long before & afterwards was a Prisoner in Custody in Goal of Newgate) did on 20th. October 1736 attack
him (meaning sd. Bygarve, then falsely personating sd. John Spruce) on the Highway as he
[..] sd. Bygrave then personating sd. Spruce
was traveling between Islop & Wheatly in Oxfordshire tha he sd (Frankland) robbed him (sd. Bygrave
there personating sd. Spruce) & forceably
took from him (sd. Bygrave) one Guinea fifteen shillings in Silver a Silver Watch & Hatt and that sd. Robery was committed in the day
