took from him (sd. Bygrave) one Guinea fifteen shillings in Silver a Silver Watch & Hatt and tha sd. Robery was committed in the day
Time between the hours of 4 & 5 of the Clock in the afternoon on or abot. the sd. 20 of October 1736. And that he (said Bygrave there
Personating sd. Sprucewas positive that the Person who robbed him (Bygrave) as aforesaid was sd. William Frankland< no role > above named
as by Examination appears when in truth & in fact sd. William Frankland< no role > or sd. William Frankland< no role > who is mentioned to becalled
by the Nickname of Rusty Dick did not at anytime in sd. Month of October 1736 attach Robb or forcibly take from the sd. Edward
Bygrave< no role > (whether personated sd. John Spruce) on the Highway any money [..] Watch or other thing whatsoever in sd County of
Oxford as sd. Bygrave falsely malitiously Voluntary & corruptly did depose Swear & upon his oath in writing affirm

That sd. Bygrave on sd. 9th. Novr. 1739 at Kensington aforesd. before sd. Wm. Morice< no role > (having sufficient power to administer sd.
Oath) falsely Voluntarily maliciously & Corruptly in manner & from aforesd. of his own wicked mind committed willfull & corrupt
perjury & deceived sd. William Morice< no role > to the great injury of sd. Frankland,the displeasure of God,the ill example of others & agt
the peace of the King his Crown Dignity.

That sd Edward Bygrave< no role > [..] endeavouring & intenating to oppress & injure sd Wm. Frankland on sd. 9th. Nover. 1739 at Kensington
aforesd. before sd. Wm. Morice< no role > then & long before & afterwards on of the Justices assigned to keep the Peace in sd County of Middx. then
& there deceiptfully & unlessfully pretended himself to be & personated one John Spruce< no role > of Aynse aforesd. by the sd. Name of John Spruce
