At the General Quarter Session of the peace of our sovereign Lord the King
begun and holden for the County of Middx at Westminster in the County
aforesaid on Thursday in the week next after the Feast of St Michael
the Archangel (to wit) the seventh day of October in the tenth yeare
of the reign of our sovereign Lord George the second King of Great
Britain France & Ireland Defender of the Faith before the Justices
next Under named and from thence continued by adjornment
Untill this day (to wit) Monday the eleventh day of October in the yeare
aforesaid and on the same day holden by adjornment at Hicks hall in
St John street in and for the said County before Thomas Lane< no role >
Alexander Garrett< no role > Richard Farwell< no role > John Poulson< no role > Esquires & other
their Fellows Justices of our said Lord the King assigned to keep the
peace in the County aforesaid and also to heare & determine divers
felonys trespasses & other misdeeds committed in the same County

Whereas in & by order bearing date the eighteenth day of May
one thousand seven hundred and thirty six Under the hands and
seals of Thomas Blencowe< no role > & George Tash< no role > Esquires two of his
Majesties Justices of the peace for the County of Middx Quorum
Unus, It is expressed That complaint had been made upon oath
Unto them the said two Justices of the peace by the Churchwardens
& Overseers of the poor of the parish of Harlington in the said County
that Thomas Osborne< no role > was run away from his place of abode in the
said parish and left Hester< no role > his wife and one child there behind him
whowerebecome chargeable to the said parish of Harlington And
that the said Thomas Osborne had them lands in the same parish then
rented by one William Newman< no role > at the yearly rent of eight shillings
and had then several goods bedds & pewter in the same parish in the
possession of Thomas Withall< no role > in the same parish, And that therefore
Upon application to them the said two Justices made by the said
Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor they the said two Justices did
by thesaid Orderaforesaid Order did Order direct and authorize them
to take seize & receive the annual rents & profits of the said lands
amounting to eight shillings a year together with all the said goods
for & towards the charge of bringing up & providing for the said

Hester the wife of the said County Thomas osborne< no role > and his child pursuant to
the Act of Parliament in that case made & provided, As by the said
order, relation being thereunto had, may at large appeare, Now
upon motion made unto this County by Mr. Theed of Councel fot the
Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor of the said parish of Harlington
at this present General Quarter Session of the peace
holden for the said County
praying a confirmation of the aforesaid order. It is
ordered by this Court that the said order be confirmed, and the same
order is hereby confirmed accordingly, And this Court by Vertue of the
