The King agt. Francis Lamborne< no role > for an Assault

Peter Lamberne< no role > of the parish of St. Giles in the Fields in the County
of Middx Coach-Maker, Jane Woodyer< no role > of the Parish of St. Ann in the Liberty
of Westmr. & County aforesd. Widow, and John Welsh< no role > of the parish of St. Giles -
aforesd. severally make Oath, and First the sd. Peter Lamberne for himself saith
That some short times after one Edward Welsh< no role > had preferred an Indictmt. in
October Sessions in the year of our Lord 1729 agt. the sd. Francis Lamborne< no role > (this Depts. Brother) [..] he the sd. Edward Welsh< no role > informed
this Depont. thereof on which this Depont. was very much surprized, for that
the sd. Francis had been wounded by the sd. Edward Welsh< no role > or some of his-
Companions (as this Depont. had been credibly informed & verily believes)
but the sd. Edward Welsh< no role > then also informed this Depont. That he the sd. Edward
& Francis were reconciled. And these Deponts. Peter Lamborne & Jane Woodyer
each speaking for him & herself say That they several times been in
company with the sd. Edward. Welsh< no role > & Francis Lamborne< no role > about Six years ago
when the sd. Edward & Francis drank & shook hands together in a very
Friendly manner & forgave each other & also heard the sd. Edward declare that
the he had indicted the sd. Francis for an Assault yet he would not prosecute him
for the same, & that he was glad that the sd. Francis had not indicted him the sd.
FrancisEdward And the sd. John Welsh< no role > for himself saith that his Father the sd. Edward
Welsh
< no role > departed this Life on the Thirteenth Day of January last, & that he hath
heard him in his Lifetime declare to the purport aforesd. & that he had no ill will
agt. the sd. Francis & that he would not prosecute him on the sd. Indictment.-
And this Dept. further saith That he verily believes if his sd. Father was now
living & the sd. Francis had still recided in or near the Cities of London or Westmr.
he his sd. Father would not (nor ever did, to the Knowledge of this Depont). take
out any Bench Warrant agt. nor prosecute the sd. Francis on the sd. Indictment. And
lastly the sd. Peter Lamborne< no role > saith That his sd. Brother went over to Dublin in
Ireland about four years ago where he now recides (as this Deponts. believes)
he having lately seen Letters from him from thence, & has lately been credily
informed (which he also believes to be true) That he recided in Dublin aforesd.
& is not now in the Kingdom of Great Britain.
