of the said parish of St. Mary White chappell
who mentioned in this Court that he [..] consented that the said
appeale should be allowed This Court thereupon declared
that the said appeale should be allowed, But the said
Churchwarden shortly afterwards on the same day alledgeingthat
unto this Court that he was surprized as to the mentioning
his consent to allow the said appeale, and that he did not intend
that the said parish of St. Mary White chappell should be
burthened with the charge of maintaining the said Male
Bastard child, and prayed that the matter of the said appeale
should be heard in Court to the intent that the Inhabitants
of the said parish may have an opportunity to make their
defence in order to maintain & make good the said Order of
Adjudication This Court doth thereupon disannull and vacate
the aforesaid Declaration of allowing the said appeale, And
doth thereupon Order that the matter of the said appeale be
heard & determined by the Court of the next General Quarter
Session of the peace to be holden for this County, and that the
hearing & determining thereof be and the same is hereby
accordingly adjourned untill the said next Session, And this
Court doth further Order that the said Robert Dean< no role > and
also the Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor of the said
parish of St. Mary White chappell and all persons concerned
doe attend the Court of the said next General Quarter Session
of the peace to be holden for the said County by adjornmt.
on Wednesday the sixteenth day of April next at ten of
the clock in the forenoon to heare & abide the Judgment
& determination of the same Court touching the sd. appeale,
