for the County of Middlesex in their General Quarter Sessions
of th peace assembled

The humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the
parish of Saint John at Hackney in the said County

Sheweth

That by virtue of a warrant or Order under the hands and Seals of
Thomas Exelbee< no role > and Richard Farmer< no role > Esqrs. two of his Majesties Justices of the
peace for the Said County of Middlesex (one being of the Quorum) bearing date
the first day of March last past [..] Thomas Hilliard< no role > Ann his wife and
[..] their three Children (that is to say) Thomas < no role > aged Sixteen Years Elizabeth< no role >
aged three years and Sarah < no role > two Years old were Removed from the Hamlett
of Bethnal Green in the said County of Middlesex to the sd. parish of Saint John
at Hackney as the place of their last legal Settlement.

Your Peticoners conceiving themselves Agrieved by the
said Order or Judgment of the said two Justices humbly
appeal to this Court against the same Praying such
relief in the premisses as to this Court shall seem
meet
