Thomas Readding< no role > the Prosecutor in this Cause maketh Oath that he
did on the fifteenth day of January last receive from the Deft. John
Ward< no role > the notice of Pleading Guilty hereunto annexed pursuant to
which notice this Dept. did attend and subpenaed his Witnesses
and also Fee'd his Councill expecting the said Deft. would have
pleaded Guilty according to such Notice but contrary thereto
the said Deft. hath Pleaded that he is not Guilty of the Charg [..]
laid in the said Indictment and hath given Notices to this
Deft. to try his Traverse thereon as this day
