To the Rt. Worspll. his Majties. Justices of the Peace for
the County of Middx

The Humble Peticon and Appeale of
Emannel Johnson< no role > of the parish of
Edmonton in this County labourer

Sheweth


That by Warrant or Order under the Hands and
Seals of Richard Hassell< no role > and Honoral Smith< no role > Esqrs. two of his
Majties. Justices of the Peace for the said County of Middx
(one being of the Quorum) bearing date the second day of
July 1734 Yor. Petr. Emannel Johnson< no role > was adjudged to be
the putative Father of a female Bastard Child lately born
of the Body of Elizabeth Pegram< no role > of the parish of Fryern
Barnet in this County singlewoman , which for some time
was chargeable to the said parish; And that the said
Justices by their said Wart. did Order yor. Petr. Forthwith
to pay to the Churchwardens & Oversers of the poor of
the sd parish of Fryern Barnet the Sume of two pounds
four shillings and ten pence towards the lying in of the sd
Elizabeth, and burying the sd Bastard, and other Charges

That Yor. Petr. finding himselfe aggrieved by the sd
Order and Judgment of the sd two Justices humbly
Appeales agt. the same

And prays yor. Worships would be
pleased to Order that the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the poor of the sd parish
of Fryern Barnet may have Notice of
this Appeale, and that they and all parties
concerned may attend this Court some
day this pr.sent qr. ter Sessions to hear and
abide the Judgmt. and Determinacon of this
Court touching the said Appeal
