Quarter Sessions Assembled

The Humble Peticon of Charles Fairchild< no role >
& Thomas Beere< no role > Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St
Giles in the Fields in the said County
on behalf of themselves & the rest of the
Inhitants of the said Parish

Sheweth


That Catherine Kemp< no role > widow of John Kemp< no role >
Deced is a Poor impotent person not able to
Work to maintain herself whereby Tho is
become chargeable to the sd Parish And is so
Likely to continue

That George Stafford< no role > of the Parish of
St. Martin in the Fields in the said County
Pewterer Son of the said Catherine by a former
husband Deced is a person of sufficient
ability at his own Charge to releive & maintain
his said Mother but refuses so to do

Yor Petrs: therefore humbly Pray
that Yor: Worships will be Pleased
to Order the said George Stafford< no role > at
his own Charge to releive & maintain
his said Mothe in such manner
& according to such rate as to Yor
Worships Shall seem meet to Assess

And Yor Petrs. shall ever Pray Etc
