Take Notice That ye. said Defendt. John Sage< no role >
the younger of Stratford in ye. County of Essex
Coachman will be & personally appear on Wednesday the
twelfth Day of this instant September at ten of ye. Clock
in ye. Forenoon, of ye. same Day before His Majties. Justices
at their General Quarter Sessions of ye. Peace to be held
by Adjournment at Hicks Hall in St. John Street in
and for ye. County of Midx And then & there will take
his tryall, for ye. Assault charged to have been by him
comitted upon You Dated this fourth Day of September
in ye. Year 1733 from

The said Joshua Sharp< no role > One of ye Attorneys of His Majesties
Court of King's Bench at Westmr. maketh, Oath That He
this Depont. did on Tusday the fourth, Day of this instant
September deliver unto & leave with ye Wife of Mr Negus
at his House in Brewhouse Lane in Wapping (where the
prosecutor Henry Bassett< no role > formerly lodged) A true Coppy
of ye. abovewritten, Notice And this Depont. at ye same time
desired ye. said Mrs. Negus to send or deliver ye. said Notice
to ye. prosecutor which she promised to do so soon as the
should see him or hear from him And this Depont. further
saith That on Friday the Seventh Day of this Instant September
He this Depent. did deliver to William Black< no role > at his House at
Symond's Wharf near Southwark (where as this Depont. was
informed the said Henry Bassett< no role > had lastly lodged) another
Coppy of the said abovewritten, Notice And this Depont. at the
same time desired the said Mr. Black to send or deliver the
said Notice to ye. said prosecutor Henry Bassett< no role > & the said
Mr. Black promised to give it to him If ever he should happen
to see him, And this Depont. further saith, That both the said
Mrs. Negus & Mrs. Black severally said that they never knew
any Lodging or place of Aboad of the said Henry Bassett< no role > other
than, his having lodged at their Houses or what they sayd
was to that Effect
