Whereas Complaint hath been made unto us two of
his Majesties Justices of the Peace for the County of
Middlesex (whereof one is of the Quorum) by the Church
Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St. Giles
without Cripplegate in the Said County That Elloner Gerry< no role >
Wife of Peter Gerry< no role > and her two Children Peter < no role > aged
between four & five & Elizabeth < no role > aged about one Yeare are
lately come into the said Parish, endeavouring to Settle
there Contrary to Law, and it appeareth unto us the said
Justices, and we do adjudge That they are likely to become
chargeable to the said Parish, and upon Examination of
Elloenr Gerry
taken upon Oath if further appeareth unto us, and we doe
likewise adjudge That the Parish of Saint Peter Poor
London
is the Place of the last legall Settlement of the said
Elloner Gerry & her two Children
whither by Law they ought to be Sent

These are therefore in his Majesties Name, to Charge & Command
the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Said Parish of
Saint Giles without Cripplegate forthwith to remove and Convey
the said Elloner Gerry and her two Children Peter and Elizabeth
from the said Parish of St. Giles without Cripplegate to the Said Parish
of St Peter Poor London
and deliver them to the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor
there, or to some or one of them, who are hereby required to provide
for them according to Law Given under our hands and Seales
His Eight day of May One Thousand Seven hundred & thirty
three

To the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of St Giles Without Cripplegate in the County of
Middlesex and to the Churchwardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the Parish of Saint Peter Poor London
And to every of them
