Whereas Complaint hath been made by you the Church-wardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish ofSaint Ann
Westminster unto us whose Hands
and Seals are hereunto set, two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
one Whereof being of the(Quorum [..] ) for theCounty and Libertyaforesaid, thatAnn
Payne
< no role > Daughter of Robert Payne< no role > deceased hath
lately intrudedherself and comeinto your said Parish of
Saint Ann Westminster
there to inhabit asaParishioner contrary to the Laws relat-
ing to the Settlement of the Poor, andisthere like to be-
come chargeable, if not timely prevented: And Whereas, upon due
Examination and Enquiry made into the Premises,on oath
it appears unto us, and we accordingly adjudge, That the said
Ann Payne< no role >
likely to become chargeable unto the said Parish ofSaint Ann,
Westminster and that the last Place of
Settlement of the saidAnn Payne< no role >
is in the said Parish of
Saint Martin in the fields .

These are therefore, in his Majesty's Name, to Order and require you
the said Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Poor of the Parish of
Saint Ann Westminster aforesaid, that you
or some of you, do forthwith remove and convey the saidAnn
Payne

from your said Parish ofSaint Ann
Westminster to the said Parish ofSaint Martin
in the fieldsandherdeliver
to the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor, there, or some or
one of them, together with this our Warrant, or Order, or a true
Copy hereof; whereby they are likewise required in his Majesty's
Name, and by Virtue of the Statutes in such Case made, forthwith to
receive the saidAnn Payne< no role >
into theissaidParish and careand provide forher
as their own Parishioner. Given under our Hands and Seals, the
Twenty FifthDay ofJune [..] 1733
