annext on Friday last being the twelfth
Day of this Instant January wth: one Mrs.
Brown who dwells in apper Well Alley in
the Parish of St. John Wapping in the
same house wth: Elizabeth the wife of Saml,
Cox< no role > the Psecutor of this Indictmt that the Sd Mrs Brown
told this Depont. that Elizabeth Cox< no role > was
not at home but that she won'd carefully
deliver the sd Copy to Mrs Cox when she
came home & this Depont. further saith
that he went the next Day to enquire of
Mrs. Brown whether she had seen Mrs. Cox
& whether sd Brown had given sd Copy to
Mrs Elizabeth Cox< no role > who told this Depont. she
had & that [..] Cox said she Se new the
meaning of it & Mrs. Brown then told
this Depont. that Mrs Cox had receive'd a
Letter from her Husband Sam Cox< no role > who was on board
a Ship in She Downs.
