To the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the Parish of St. George in the County of Middx And
to the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of St. Mary White Chappel in the Said County

Whereas Complaint hath been made unto us
two of his Maties Justices of the Peace (Quor Unus)
for the Said County of Middx by the Churchwardens-
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St. George
above said that Jane Burnett< no role > aged about Eight
years the daughter of Uphan Burnett< no role > is lately come
into the Said Parish endeavouring to Settle herselfe
there contrary to Law And it appearing unto us the
Said Justices that the Said Uphan Burnett< no role > is gon
away, and his late wife the mother of the Said Jane
Burnett
< no role > is dead therefore we adjudge the Said Jane
Burnett
< no role > likely to become chargable to the Said Parish
And Whereas it further appeareeth unto us the-
Said Justices of the Peace upon Examinacon taken
before us upon Oath that the Said Uphan Burnett< no role >
was last legally Settled in the Said Parish of St. Mary
White Chappel which we the Said Justices of the Peace
Do Adjudge to be true therefore we the Adjudge the sd.
Jane Burnetts Settlement to be there in Eight of her
Said Father Uphan Burnett

These are therefore in his Maties Name to
Will and require you to convey and [..]
Jane Burnett< no role > from your Said Parish of St. George
to the Parish of St. Mary White Chappel above said
and deliver her to the Churchwardens & Overseers of
the Poor there or to Some or one of them who are-
thereby required to provide for her According to Law-
Given under our hands and Seals this 14th day of
July Anno Dom 1782
