It is Ordered by this Court that the affaire of James Sharpless< no role > Gent late Treasurer
for the Marshalsea Kings Bench & Hospitalls for the Hundreds of Ossulston
Edmonton & Gore in this County touching the allowance by him prayed to be
made to him for the several years in which he hath been Treasurer for his
charges & expences for prepareing and sending out & delivering his precepts
to the several high Constables within the said Hundreds for raiseing of the
moneys assessed upon the several parishes & places within the same Hundreds
for the purpose aforesaid and in obtaining & getting in of moneys assessed
for the said purpose, be referred to the consideracon of the Committee of his
Maties Justices of the peace of this County appointed to take the accounts of
the Treasurers of the said County, which Committee is hereby desired to report
their opinions to the Court of General Quarter or General sessions of the peace
for this County whether any, and what allowance is reasonable to be made
to the said Mr. Sharpless touching the premisses.
