Whereas by an Order made at the General
sessions of the peace holden for this County
by adjornment on Thursday the twenty seventh
day of August one thousand seven hundred &

should forthwith pay unto Paul Warden< no role >
Carpenter the sume of fifteen pounds & six
shillings due to him for repairing &strengthen
strengthening his Maties Goal of New Prison
at Clerkenwell in the said County in order to precoat the escape of Prisoners by
Carpenters Work, Bricklayers Work, and
